Well its been a long time since i last blogged.
Been an extremely busy last few months. The work has been extremely busy on the commercial front with stacks of calls to offices, shops and the odd pub or two.
On the domestic front its been quieter mainly due to the credit crunch. Its not that homeowners dont rrquire locksmiths or burglaries have stopped its more to do with the fact every tom, dick and harry is calling themselves a locksmith. Many are short of work and looking for ways to earn some money on the side. This is not good for the general public as they are getting ripped off all over the place by some very dodgy characters. There are even locksmiths making out they are city and guild qualified, yet there is not a city and guild qualification in locksmithing which can be verified on their website.
To be sure you are getting the right locksmith do please make sure they are members of the the institute if certfied locksmiths even if you dont use us.This way you have recurse if you are not happy.
The run up to christmas has been very busy especially on the security gates front.Unfortunately burglary does seem to be increasing with the current economic climate.I can only see it getting worse as more and more feel the impact of it all.
Make sure you lock up all the time.
