Exciting new products are arriving that are beginning to change the role of a locksmith.Yale have just launched their new door viewer.Forget had to see through small eye pieces in the door,this new gadget has an actual screen mounted on the door.On the outside is a tiny camera with a small button to press as a door bell.Once this button is pushed the viewer comes alive and starts to show who is outside on the screen but thats not all.It also records the images its shows onto a memory card.This allows for those dodgy bogus callers etc to be identified at a later date. We have these on order as i type so some pictures will follow soon.


Not a lot of burglaries recently to report which can only be a good thing.We did have a few calls to the bromley and orpington areas though.It normally does seem to slow down on the burglary front at this time of year normally picking up again from september onwards.

It seems the wholesale price of steel is starting to stabilise a bit so hopefully no more price increases on the retractable gates,bars and grilles.The off the shelf security gates are proving to be very popular.Although these are a one size fits all security gate they do have limitations to where they can be fitted and sometimes a custom made gate is the only option.

Hopefully we will be starting to increase the areas we cover for the retractable gates,security gates,bars and grilles as we are looking into getting another van and installer/locksmith out on the road.


The online shop is now live where you can buy various security products. At present we have custom made retractable gates for D.I.Y. install and also mesh grilles to protect glass in windows or prevent access through the broken glass.We are going to keep updating this section and try to add as many options as we can so you can get the product you want in just a few clicks. With the retractable gates many options are available like lift up tracks,choice of colours and much more.

Over time we are going to add more and more products that provide great value.
