Everyday we get enquires asking for prices or details of products but price is really becoming the main focus of many calls.Unfortunately we are not the cheapest company out there as we prefer tosupply and fit product we know to offer good value but more importantly products that will secure your property effectively.
One thing i cannot understand is why when it comes to the most expensive purchase most people will ever make,their home,that many will want to protect it and its contents with the cheapest lock they can get.Most people who have been victims of a burglary are willing to take security seriously and pay for reliable effective locks and other security products.
At present burglary seems to be rising or maybe we just attend many ?

One company that contacted us this week had been burgled 5 times in 6 weeks,yes you read that right, shocking to say the least.Domestic burglaries seem to be on the rise too and many are finding that retractable gates or security gates are the only things that keep these thieves out.

At present worldwide metal prices are very volatile and prices are going up again on the security gates.An increase of 15% on wholesale costs means we are longer unable to absorb these rises and our prices will reflect this.

It seems we have been everywhere in london this week,only today we went blackheath,bromley,crystal palace,thornton heath, mitcham,ilford,dagenham then back to shooters hill,phew.Times are very busy with the commercial workload always on the increase as we pick up new clients in the city and suberbs.Bromley seems to be a very popular area with us at present with quite a few referrals in the area.Bexley and dartford have also been areas we frequented this week,the van is racking up the mileage with so many areas needing our services.

Telesales calls ARRRRRGH they drive me mad.So many in a day and virtually everyday yet not once have i ever purchased anything from these firms,does anyone ? Worse still is the lies spun by the more imaginative callers. One today tried to sell some advertising space in a directory for business. The selling point was they only had one of each business in the directory (this was for bromley and bexley areas) and could we handle all the extra work it would produce. After asking why the existing advertiser isn't renewing their advert if it so successful ? Its only at this point they admitted its new directory.
I asked how they can say its going to produce loads of work when its not even been printed let alone proven to work ?
We didn't take the offer of the advert.......
