Every gate is custom made by experienced welders so it compliments your property offering excellent protection and looks.




The standard lock we fit is a chubb 114e mortice lock which satisfies most insurance companies.

We are also able to fit most other types of locks
on request, for example to fit in with an existing master key system.

Restricted keys are another option if unauthorised duplications are a worry.

All our locks are screwed in where possible which means they can be changed easily if need be.

We deal with many calls from customers who are unable to change the locks on their existing gate as it is welded in or the gate has been made around the lock making it extremely difficult to do a simple lock change.

As each gate is custom made many options are available including the design of the gate.A standard design with straight bars with maybe some decorative scrolls is the most popular type of design but we can make most things you can think up. The more complicated the design the more expensive it will be due to the time involved in making it.

Gates provide a very effective way of preventing would thieves gaining access to the rear of a property via an alley.
They also can help make this space into an additional useful storage area to your property for bikes etc.

Our gates come powder coated as standard with a choice of colours available.
Powder coating is a polymer based spray finish where the spray is applied in a powder form then it is heated up so it melts around the object sprayed and forms a smooth durable finish.

If you would like to paint your gate to match existing railings etc we can supply the gate in an etched primed finish ready for painting by yourself.

If you have concerns about intruders climbing over a gate fitted to your alleyway we are able to fit anti climbing spikes with spear tops or round ends in many different style.

A standard security gate is made from 40mm
box steel steel but we can also make them from 50mm for serious strength or 30mm if a narrow profile is required or where space is limited.

You may also have 2 locks fitted if you would like enhanced security.

Steel sheets can also be added to the gate to provide privacy and additional security. 

The way the gates are fixed depends on where it is to be installed. If it is between walls like in an alleyway or doorway reveal we normally use 10mm thick bolts.When the gate is closed these fixings are hidden and unaccessible.


If the gate is to be fixed to the walls either side
of a reveal or door opening that gates are then
face fixed or surfaced mounted.
(as in the picture to the right)

Again our standard type fixing is 10mm thick bolts with a security head. This type of fixing means the bolts are accessible when the gate is locked. If there are concerns about the bolts being
removed in this type of installation we can
make it so the bolts are un-removable to maintain
your security.
