Also the restriction of locksmith tools to the general public has disappeared due to the internet.As the government refuses to listen to the industry and take action against this we have come up with a cost effective solution to the most common problems like lock bumping and cylinder snapping.



Break ins are still taking place and many are during the day on domestic properties. Laptops and plamsa/lcd tvs remain popular targets.We have visited a few recently that took place on terraced houses through the front windows.Windows were either forced open or had the glass smashed, all were sash windows. Sash windows are easily forced if no extra locks are fitted.Preventing the glass being smashed as a means of entry can only be stopped by either fitting bars on the outside or sliding gates inside.


We have also visited a few commercial break ins in central london to offices and shops. Intruders have been hiding in communal areas like toilets and then waiting for everyone to go home.Once the think everyone has gone home they then attempt to break into an office etc.

Simple prevention like fitting digital locks to toilets to only allow the correct people into those areas can help.Also a check of the building as your leaving can help also.
Access control to your offices can add a lot more security to prevent random unwanted visitors.

A couple were via fire exit doors, we fitted steel reinforcement sheets to prevent further force opening them.It is also possible to have steel fire exit doors fitted if the threat is great.
