Restricted Keys | Print |
Restricted keys mean that you can only get duplicates or copies of the keys if you are authorised to do so. This is extremely useful for many situations for example like on a main entrance door to a block of flats.

In this situation it means other flat owners cannot just get keys cut for anyone else without getting permission and it also allows a record to be kept of who has had keys cut.

If you are having building work done you can be sure the builders have not had any duplicates made if you lend them keys. This can save you having to have the locks changed.

Also they offer a great deal of protection against a new form of lock bypass called "lock bumping" .This has started to become a problem in certain parts of the country due to the amount of videos and forums about it on the internet.
This method is only effective if you can get a key for the lock that you can adapt. If the keys are restricted then the likelihood of obtaining key to convert is slim.

We can also supply locks like the evva 3ks which is bump proof and an extremely high security lock anyway.
